Step 1: Inquiry

The process begins when you contact your regional PREPARES office to inquire about services or to refer a family. After receiving your inquiry, your regional PREPARES office will contact you or the person you referred.

Step 2: Phone Intake

PREPARES staff will identify specific support available over the phone. You will only need to provide your phone number and address. This is a great time to ask about other resources like shelter, food banks, etc.

Step 3: Connect

You will be connected to the nearest community PREPARES program that can help with essential needs or parenting support. Programs offer a variety of services and may not be able to meet every need, but will provide guidance for other available local resources.
